The Ranger class is, as you might have been able to figure out by the name, a ranged class that uses bow and arrow. But you can also chose to wield a sword and dagger for close combat situations.

As a Ranger you also know how to set traps for your enemies. The downside to all this is that a lot of your skills require constant “refueling”. For example, you always need new arrows for your bow, and ingredients for the traps.

This makes the Ranger class one of the more expensive ones in Aion online. So make sure that you have a viable plan for making Kinah before setting out on you journey across Atreia. You can always read our Kinah making guide under the Aion Kinah Guides section of the site.

For armor you will be using cloth and leather, as well as all types of head gear. Obviously, leather is to be prefered over cloth because of it’s better defensive properties whenever possible.

Rangers in Aion online are a DPS through burst damage type of class. You also have access to Crowd Control, stealth, snares, and as mentioned earlier; traps.
